As the year draws to a close, I been looking back over the year, assessing the rise and fall of the last twelve months. Many of us will be wondering where the time has gone, asking what has been achieved and what’s next.
Don’t forget to give your social media, and blog, the same kind of attention by giving it an overhaul, bringing inline with where you are today.

When I first started blogging, I had almost finished the first round of edits on my first novel. Well, three years, and three novels later, my About page hasn’t reflected these developments, until now.
Our blog is the solid foundation of our brand, our home base, so don’t forget to keep all of your information relevant. You want to reflect the writer you are today, not who you used to be.
By keeping things up to date, you can make sure your readers know what you’re up to, what material they can buy, where they can find you, and any exciting developments in your career.

When was the last time you edited your site, to keep it fresh, current and engaging? Tell me, how long have you been blogging, and how have you grown since the beginning?
Share your journey with me, you know I love hearing from you.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time, Much Love.
My site’s gone through a lot of trial and error over the years, and certain pages require more updates than others, minor but important.
Happy Holidays, Lorraine!

Minor but important, that’s so accurate.
Happy holiday to you too, Andrew.

I’ve been blogging since Fall 2017. My focuses have shifted and expanded, so over time, I’ve changed things like my blog name, tag line, and website aesthetic. I agree that keeping your site updated is important!

Yours does, indeed, look freshened up! I did my big refresh this past May, and I’m thinking I’ll keep the main theme of it for at least a while.

As long as the other details remain relevant, there’s no need to play around with things that work for you.
And I’m keeping my theme for now.

Your post is good timing for me. I had to step away from my blog until I completed my first draft. At first it bummed me out but I’m realizing it was a smart move. Before I return I will update and plan on improvements. Good stuff as always. Thanks.

Sometimes it’s the wisest choice, I think everyone understands – writing comes first. Good luck with the new draft.

Great reminder, I could do with giving everything a once over. It’s so easy yo get complacent.
