  1. I absolutely love the quote by Erich Fromm. It’s so true, in order to find creativity, you do need to let go of certainties. Because creativity for me means to create something new, something that hasn’t been there before. And no one knows what will become of it beforehand. So it takes courage, but I think it’s worth it 🙂

  2. I love the quote about enthusiasm! I always try to approach my writing with an enthusiastic, positive, and energetic headspace, and I think I’m going to have to steal that quote and put it on my wall. A lot of great things can be created with a bit of enthusiasm. Thank you for compiling and sharing these quotes. 🙂

  3. I think there’s a little piece of all of us in every quote. Creativity has so many ingredients. Some rise to the top only to be replaced by something new.

Whatever it is, it works. That’s why we are who we are.

Love the quotes. Thanks for sharing.

  4. “Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.” Fromm is right. For whatever reason, most of us are not creative thinkers. I’m not so sure that’s a bad thing. The world might not be stable enough to raise a family if everyone were to question every certainty.

  5. I love all of them but the first quote really resonated with me as did the last. I still battle with issues of self doubt and comparison. But then on other days I’m filled with so much enthusiasm and passion I could nearly burst! Thanks for a motivating post.
